Once a part of the international fashion circuit, Annette Williamson wishes to share some of the most incredible people and places she has actually known. She wanted the get the readers lost in a world that very few get to see, making them love the characters who are ordinary people thrown into extraordinary situations. Although based on fact the characters are fictional, though in actuality their reality is exactly how described. Annette Williamson hopes you can love these people as much as she does, as their journey reflects that which each of us undergoes at some point in our lives.
American by birth, Annette spent 15 years studying and working in Europe and Asia, where she completed graduate degrees in ancient studies at the prestigious DSL in London, with an emphasis is Shakespeare and Greek literature. Writing other more serious books under different pen names, she craved making a book that was fun to read- but still maintained a sense of integrity. Once Upon the Rhine was born out of the authors real life experiences, and was imparted as an act of intensity. It was written to convey one critical message- that we are running out of time every moment as we walk upon this earth and love is the only thing we need to master.
Annette Williamson now lives in the mountains of snowy Aspen, where she's seen one too many lions and bears and even a moose. She often sits by the waterfalls to think and loves all kinds of junk food, especially potato chips. Annette has a school where she teaches people how to meditate, but spends most of her spare time writing. She knows, however, where a secret spot in a cave is that houses golden eagles, and was shocked to learn their nests can weigh up to 2,000 pounds. All this is a far cry from her former life, but she enjoys it just the same.
