Hi, I’m D.K. (Dawn) Henderson and this is a bit about me.

I'm the author of The Skull Chronicles, a series of fantasy adventure novels set in the world of the mysterious and powerful crystal skulls.

Real life crystal skulls came into my life in the summer of 2011. I was immediately fascinated by them and felt a compelling desire to create their stories. They have been in existence for thousands of years, held sacred by ancient cultures all over the world, yet so little is known about them and their origins. To date, I have published the four books in the series, Lost Legacy (Book I), The Red Skull of Aldebaran (Book II), Daughter of the Gods (Book III), and most recently Khalia's Tomb (Book IV).

I am a spiritual adventurer, drawn to explore the truth of worlds and dimensions beyond the one we inhabit. I am a healer and have trained in a number of complementary and energy therapies, and I have a deep knowing that there is much more to life than we experience with our physical senses. My books subtly (and sometimes not so subtly) reflect this.

My first book was Forgotten Wings, which is a handbook for spiritual growth and personal transformation, and drew on my years of experience in the healing sphere. Since then I have plunged headfirst into writing fiction, an activity that allows my imagination free rein to do as it wants. I am currently working on two new novels, which is a total departure from everything I have ever written before in a completely new genre for me. It is an exciting challenge.

I live and write in the beautiful and ancient county of Wiltshire in England, surrounded by its sacred sites and awe-inspiring monuments. It is a land that inspires me and nourishes my soul.
