After taking a writing for children correspondence course at the age of 50, I began to write for magazines and newspapers. My articles appear in children, teacher, religious, travel, parent, senior magazines, newspapers, Chicken Soup for the Soul and Family Circle.

How the West Was Drawn: Cowboy Charlie's Art was my first book out in 2011 and the second in the series, Frederic Remington's Art, will be released February, 2012. I am working on the third book in the series - Women's Art.

I taught elementary education but subbed in classes from K-8. I served as a docent in four art museums and two galleries - Phoenix Art Museum, Utah Museum of Fine Arts, Denver Art Museum, Seattle Art Museum, Hearst Gallery (Moraga, CA) and now the Loveland Museum/Gallery.

I love to read, write, golf, craft, travel, and dance to Dixieland Jazz or 50's music.

I have three sons, three daughters-in-law, seven grandchildren which includes two sets of twins. I live with my husband of 46 years in beautiful Colorado.
