During the pandemic, I took a break from book writing to earn a Master of Theological Studies and now, after graduation, I am writing and publishing - and developing a new ministry! The Peace in the Storm Project is a unique, church-based model for accompaniment with and for people who live with chronic illness and pain. My devotional, Peace in the Storm: Meditations on Chronic Pain and Illness (Image/Penguin Random House) is the basis for the ministry, and my newest book, Beyond Pain: Job, Jesus, and Joy Revised Edition (Galilee Road Publishing) is also part of the ministry's resources. I am delighted by how the Holy Spirit is moving in and through my work! Stay tuned for more wonderful developments as the months and years move ahead!
