Renee M. Palstring has not always known she wanted to be an author, in fact, she originally started out on a completely different path. She earned a Bachelor of Science
in Mathematics and Computer Science and set off on an adventure to become an engineer/programmer. However, after
marrying and moving to Hawaii during the pandemic, she realized that her passions were somewhere else, she just didn’t
know where. She finally realized this when she started reading again, to keep her occupied as she job searched, this sparked
the creative writer in her. She started writing as a fun hobby which ultimately turned into her debut book, A Misplaced
Love.

When Renee is not busy chasing her newfound dream to become an author, she can be found doing a variety of activities ranging from lounging near the garden to trying
to survive a three-hour hike. She’ll jump at the chance to travel and experience another’s culture, but she also loves the comforts and familiarity of home.
