Dawn Ludlow has used books as a means of escaping reality for almost thirty years. She believes historical fiction is one of the best ways to learn about history (she's terrible at remembering facts and events without a story around it). She began her love of reading at an early age, but it was a copy of Little Women, which she earned with "bear passes" in fifth grade, that sparked her love of reading fiction about the past. She lives in Montana with her husband and three children where she is also a full-time teacher and coach. She loves enjoying the outdoors, playing card and table games with her family, and baking and eating many things.
