Tracy Gardner is a multi-award winning mystery and women's fiction author and Edgar Award nominee. Under pseudonym Jess Sinclair, the author's book club fiction book What We Could Have Been won the 2024 Storytrade Women's Fiction Award and USA Southeast Fiction award.
Currently, Gardner's five book Shepherd Sisters Mysteries series is rapid-releasing through Tule Publishing in 2025.
A Detroit native and mother of three, Tracy is the daughter of two teachers. She lives with her husband and best friend of thirty years and a menagerie of spoiled rescue dogs and cats, and is a strong believer in the power of baked goods, live music, and girlfriend therapy as staples to a happy life.
