Born in Cologne in 1973, he still lives in the Rhineland, keeps chickens and bees and shares his life with his wife, two children and two cats.

He is the author of numerous successful crime novels and romantic comedies. His novel “The Book Walker” was on the SPIEGEL bestseller list for over two years. “The Golden Typewriter” is his first book for children.

He developed his career as a journalist specialized in oenology, also working as a gastronomic critic. As a journalist he writes about wines for different national and international magazines and is a jury for several awards in the sector.
