Twenty years ago, my parents were killed by vampires. If it wasn't for the demon hunters who swooped in and stopped them, I would be dead too. Yet here I am, a witch raised by hunters, with a burning vendetta to find the vampires responsible for my family's demise.

Just when I think I found a lead, the universe throws me a curveball and I've never wished for the power to summon the dead more than I do now. Because then I'd ask my parents why they sold their youngest daughter to the Malus Mafia, an underground criminal organization that's been run by vampires for the last six hundred years.
