The 136-page softcover book features an artist’s statement and essays by curator Nadia Kurd and guest writers Sherry Farrell Racette and Dylan Miner, in Anishinaabemowin and English. The beautiful, richly-illustrated book traces the artist’s work over three decades, including recent paintings made with Isaac Murdoch, and documents Belcourt’s and Murdoch’s collaborative activism.
The book is designed by Mark Timmings and printed in Vancouver by Hemlock. The Anishinaabemowin translation is by Patricia Ningewance and Roger Roulette / Indigenous Languages of Manitoba Inc.
