This book is the third in a series of four satires about the kids of the 1950’s that grew to become such a pivotal generation: Baby Boomers.

At the end of “There is a Generation II” the heroes, Tim and Hect, escaped an attack by Mexican Federales in a World War II vintage transport. Flying at an altitude of 10,000 feet, the rickety twin-engine airplane tossed about in a lightning-filled thunderstorm. On their way to South America against their will, the terrified pair fears their young lives might end in a fiery impact into the towering volcano, El Popo.

Not until the plane flew out of the storm intact was a much relieved Tim able to begin a conversation with a fellow passenger, hoping to learn what he and Hect had been kidnapped into. Not only were they part of an international effort to dismantle and remake western culture, including America, but they had only been allowed aboard by the planeload of high officials because of a misconception. Otherwise, Tim and Hect would have been escorted to the exit minus parachutes.

By the time they arrived in Bogota, Colombia the boys’ true identities were discovered, and they ended up captives. Thanks to Tim’s creativeness and Hect’s bravado, they escaped and hid out in the desperately poor slums of the city. For the first time, Tim and Hect experienced actual injustice and oppression by a tyrannical government. In an effort to improve conditions in the ghetto by exterminating a biblical plague of bugs, the two inadvertently incite a riot that grows to a full scale revolution. Now how are they ever to get back home?
