At barely twenty-eight, the internationally famous cricketer Kyrshan Nongrum decides to retire from mainstream cricket, not giving a valid reason to the baying media. He returns home to Sohra in Meghalaya, planning to resurrect his life there.

His neighbour from childhood, Pareen Sangma, has been crushing on the cricketer from the time she was thirteen, and he sixteen. While she barely gets to see him in person, not once he left home to become a world champion, she continues to worship him through TV, newspapers and social media. She’s the most surprised when Kyrshan returns home to take up residence in Sohra.

While Kyrshan is in search of his life’s purpose, he finds himself falling deeply in love with Pareen, who has a scintillating career as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of the small hill station and is absolutely clear about her life’s ambition: to serve the people of her hometown.

While the world has been his oyster over the last dozen years, will the small town be able to hold a famous persona such as Kyrshan?

Into this scenario walks in Leela Garg, a popular cricket show host who also happens to be his ex-flame, determined to drag him back to mainstream cricket. Will she be able to persuade Kyrshan to her way of thinking?
