It is Springtime in Spruce Hollow and Ivy Bear is doubly excited: 1. Her family is going on a Spring Break Vacation, AND 2. Uncle Beau will be going with them! Last Summer she and Uncle Beau had set up the Beau & Ivy Detective Agency after solving the mystery of Freddy Fox's missing tricycle on their birthday! The adventurous uncle and niece duo share the same birthday, and even though there is a big age difference between them they are as alike as two peas in a pod. They both love adventure and mysteries!
Mom Bear informs the detectives that she has set up a mystery for them----she won't tell them where they are going on vacation- it is to be a case for them to solve- The Vacation Surprise Mystery!
