Children played under sparkling crystalline domes, and their parents strolled beside fountains that sprung with clean water and civic pride. Erōsha was a living monument to shared humanity, sculpted by intention and hope.

Then the Core arrived.

Myla Revaya and Elex Corfin are two strangers in this ruin once called Erōsha, now derisively called Acid Snot.

Myla and Elex’s paths crossed by fate or perhaps misfortune. Myla, distrustful, had spent her years scavenging and surviving, her worldview carved from the jagged edges of the city's decay. Elex, in contrast, carried an air of purpose that felt foreign in a world devoid of meaning. He’d approach Myla with a proposition: guide him to the Core, the pulsating nexus of Acid Snot’s corruption and decay. She hesitated at first. No one ventured near the Core and lived to tell about it. But something in Elex’s calm determination had sparked a reluctant curiosity, and against her better judgment, she’d agreed.
