The story of the adopted daughter of the Grand General and the Crown Prince of the Western Regions.

Li Shuang, the adopted daughter of the Grand General, guards the borders of Da Jin. One day, she discovers Ao Deng, the Crown Prince of the Western Regions, who has been cursed and transformed into a child by dark magic. She names him Jin’an. By day, Jin’an appears as a child, but at night, he transforms into a masked warrior known as the Black-Faced Armored Man, repeatedly aiding Li Shuang in repelling the armies of the Western Regions.

On a cold winter night, amidst wind and snow on the mountaintop, a single kiss stirs Li Shuang’s emotions. For him, she forsakes her freedom and journeys to Mount Nanchang. For her, he leaves his homeland and abandons wealth and glory.

Together, they endure numerous hardships, until finally, hand in hand, they retreat into seclusion in the mountains and forests.
