If you spend any time at all with Meghan McComb, sooner or later she will tell you a story. It might be a tale from her past, an amusing anecdote about her family, or a testimony about something amazing God has done in her life. Words and pictures are her creative and spiritual gifts.

A lifelong daydreamer with an overactive imagination, Meghan has been a writer, artist, and singer for as long as she can remember. She holds a B.A. with Honors in Art History from SUNY Potsdam. What she loved most about her college major was hearing the stories about the artists’ lives and works.

In 1983 Meghan married Richard McComb. They have spent almost all their married life near Ithaca in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. For sixteen years she was a stay-at-home mom homeschooling their three now-grown children.

Her romantasy fairy tale series The Rose In The Fire paints a vivid picture of spiritual warfare in the life of one young girl. The story grew out of her actual experience of deliverance from fears, depression, nightmares, and other lasting effects caused by her involvement in occult practices as a young teen.

When she is not writing, you will no doubt find Meghan talking out loud to herself as she neglects to water her houseplants, does daily word puzzles with paper and pencil, and brews coffee that will knock your socks off.
